The primary aim of CESDOP is to support policymakers and standards writers by ensuring that the voices of experts in security, defense, and the community at large are reflected and well represented in the regulations that govern public safety operations.
The membership fees that are collected are destined for supporting the CESDOP Secretariat, which incurs administrative costs associated with processing the applications, conducting due diligence, and maintaining the CESDOP website.

CESDOP intends to establish chapters that operate as subcommittees that promote and implement the aims of CESDOP in a given country or region.
ESTABLISH A CHAPTER IN YOUR COUNTRY

Send a PDF file containing the following:
- An expression of interest indicating why a chapter would be beneficial in your country or region.
- The names of the five (5) experts that will comprise the CESDOP Subcommittee for your country or region. The CESDOP Subcommittee shall have a Chairperson and have should have representation from each of the following areas: Cybersecurity, Defense, Private Security, Policing, and a member of the community at large.
- In separate messages for each candidate please submit two letters of recommendation as follows:
(a) One letter from a Defense or Policing institution in their country or region.
(b) One letter from the Mayor’s office in the town or city where they live, or from the office of the Governor of their province or state, or ultimately from the office of the President of their country.
4. As part of the documents to be submitted for each candidate please include their CV detailing their experience in Security, Defense, Order, and Peacekeeping.
